Community Foundations National Standards Board (CFNSB) Director Nomination Form
The Community Foundations National Standards Board seeks to engage in an active and ongoing process that affirms human diversity in its many forms, encompassing but not limited to ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation and identification, age, economic circumstance, class, disability, geography, and philosophy. Accordingly, we encouragenominations of candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Note: You may nominate yourself.
At the time of nomination, and throughout term of service, candidates must be actively associated in an official capacity with an accredited community foundation.
Candidates should have knowledge of and experience with the National Standards accreditation process.
Candidates should be engaged in the community foundation field.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of three years of community foundation experience (e.g., as a staff member or member of a community foundation board of directors).
Requirements and Expectations of Service
Board members serve a three-year term, renewable for one additional term of three years.
Board members participate in three conference calls and one in-person meeting annually.
Board members are responsible for their own costs related to board service.
